Intentional, Intelligent, Efficient, No-Bullshit Moving

The moving experience you were hoping for.

  • We want to take you from where you are to where you are going.

    This service requires:

    • Labor for loading, driving, and unloading

    • Transportation between each job site location

We are licensed & insured for moves across the entire country.

  • Packing is a labor service we are passionate about. We pride ourselves on world-class excellence and will provide all the best materials to ensure your belongings remain in perfect condition until you see them next. This is a very time-intensive service and will translate as much in the final price.

  • We would love to do your whole move but if you want to rent a truck or container, this is the perfect way to approach hybrid moving. We are world-class in loading trucks & containers (like PODS) to ensure the safety of your belongings over the road while maximizing the use of space within your truck or container.

  • Not all moves require a truck. Here are some examples of other ways we can serve you:

    • Furniture rearrangment

    • Moving into or out of garage

    • Moves within the same apartment complex

    • Furniture assembly or disassembly

    • And if you have another idea, please ask!

  • We know, your stuff isn’t junk but it’s time to part ways and you don’t want to waste time on 10 people ghosting you from FB Marketplace…

Let’s get rid of the clutter and free up some space in your life.

We are a full-service moving company equipped for nearly any of your moving needs. We value integrity and excellence. Although big enough for any moving job, we are a small enough company to provide highly tailored solutions for your move. We have been in business since 2013.

The owner, Anthony Sitter, is a former Marine Corps Officer and graduate of the United States Naval Academy (Class of 2007). Anthony moved around quite a bit during his time in the military (literally all over the world) and felt he could better serve customers from a place of understanding the stresses involved.

We are fully licensed and insured for both intra- and interstate moves.

Straightforward Pricing

  • Labor: $90/man-hr (2-hr min)

  • Transportation: $4/mile (50-mile min)

  • Packing: same as labor rate and we include all materials ($2000 min)

  • Junk Removal: labor rate on site (billed in 15-min increments), $0.15/lb ($110 min), and a $560 flat haul-away (card on file required for weight charge)

Our Reviews

★★★★★

“We’ve used Sitter Movers twice now, and both experiences were excellent. The crews were professional, friendly, on time, and worked efficiently from start to finish. Everything was handled with care, delivered exactly as promised, and arrived with no damage whatsoever.”

— Dan M.

★★★★★

“Anthony saved our lives on our long-distance move. We were backed against a wall with the “big name” companies. Left with no other option, Anthony swooped in. Took care of every single detail, even things we didn’t see coming. I’ve never ENJOYED a move more, and I didn’t know that was even remotely possible. If you want your move to feel more like a vacation, you found the ticket.”

— Brett M.

★★★★★

“Found a great moving company! Sitter’s Movers were on time, hauled all of our things (big furniture included) down 2 flights of stairs, through a small walkway, and packed it all very tightly into 2 full PODS units. Fantastic job!!”
